Community sports nonprofit, Boston
The Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance has run pay-what-you-can ultimate since 1992, anywhere from 600 to 5,000 players a season, elementary schoolers to grandmasters. Their old site could not keep that many schedules, scores, and sign-ups straight.
Now players find their league, their schedule, and their next game in seconds. Organizers answer fewer repeat questions and spend the time growing the sport.

Federation magazine, in print since 1947
Northwest Chess has served players across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho since 1947: tournaments, ratings, and a magazine that never missed an issue. Everything a player needed was real, just scattered and slow to find.
Now the next event, the entry steps, and the full archive sit one calendar apart. More of the right people show up at the board.
